Studio City Sound was excited to welcome Gary Sinise [pictured above (L-R) with Tom Weir and SCS Engineers Luke Tozour and Jorge Costa)] back to our studio. Gary, a strong supporter of our troops overseas, was working on ISDN promotional voiceovers for the US Army.

Joe Bonamassa was in today recording the song, "Merry Christmas Baby." Bonamassa, a blues guitar virtuoso, enjoyed the time off from his lengthy tour.

Frankie Valli visited our studio to record an ISDN interview with host David Dye for the National Public Radio program “World Café” that will be heard on nearly 200 stations nationwide (airing 1/16/08).

Emmy award winning actor Anthony Geary (ABC’s “General Hospital”) recorded songs at SCS for an upcoming show.

Studio City Sound was also glad to welcome back multi-platinum producer/songwriter Andreas Carlsson, who recorded new material with fellow songwriters/performers Ace Young (American Idol), Mateo Laboral, Alex James and Jasmine Baird.

Max Morgan, pictured here celebrating his birthday in the SCS lounge, is working on his debut album with noted hitmaker/producer, Marc Tanner of Chime Entertainment.
The debut album is scheduled for a 2008 release.

 

 

MTV’s reality show Parental Control recorded music and filmed an episode at Studio City Sound with Tom Weir (the episode to be aired soon).
Tom even appears on camera during this episode!
